The four things that move the price
- Size and layoutMeasure the usable area, then account for curves, cuts, seams and material waste.
- Removal and accessExisting surfaces, disposal and the route into the yard affect the work involved.
- Base and drainageGround conditions, grading and the proposed drainage system determine the preparation.
- Turf and finishingThe selected turf, infill, edges and transitions form part of the installed scope.
Ask every installer to show the same items. If one quote leaves out removal, base preparation or disposal, the headline numbers are not comparable.
